PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed lawyer Nesauro Firme as the newest member of the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC).
In a one-page appointment paper signed by Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez on July 11 but was released to the media just recently, Firme will replace retired Supreme Court Justice Noel Tijam and will represent the academe in the council.
