DURING the past several months, I sensed some urgency in both the public and private sectors to "declare a new normal." My reaction was simple: "Let's tiptoe into the next normal."

The whole world is experiencing change. Countries, organizations, and persons who have prepared for change usually emerge successful when things normalize. After two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, I doubt if one day we will see "the" new normal. My guess is that we shall be transitioning into a series of "next normal."
