My niece was charged for allegedly committing the crime of qualified theft. She was told by the complainant in the said case that the crime was qualified due to her status as a laborer. Assuming that the alleged unlawful taking of property is proven, is the fact of being a "laborer" enough to qualify the crime of theft?
