THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) has reminded all registered political parties and coalition of political parties that they have only until August 15 to file the required Annual Sworn Information Update Statement (SIUS) or risk cancellation of their registration.
Comelec spokesman John Rex Laudiangco on Friday said the filing is mandatory pursuant to Comelec Resolution 10411 for purposes of determining the current status of registered political parties or coalition of political parties.
