PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. renewed his call to all local government units (LGU) to step up their Covid vaccination efforts amid the rise in daily infections and the emergence of another variant of the virus.
In a statement over the weekend, the President reminded concerned government agencies, particularly the Department of Education (DepEd), to ensure that students are provided an added layer of protection against Covid once face-to-face classes resume this month.
