THE country's jobless rate was unchanged at 6 percent in June from a month earlier, the government reported on Monday.

Job quality, however, appears to have gotten better over the same period as underemployment — a measure of those looking for more work — improved to 12.6 percent from 14.5 percent, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) data showed.
