ENERGY Secretary Raphael Lotilla has laid out the Department of Energy's (DoE) plans under the Marcos administration, which primarily focus on accelerating the development of the country's indigenous energy resources, strengthening electric cooperatives and expanding investments in the energy sector.

In his first press briefing with the media on Tuesday since his appointment as the new DoE chief, Lotilla highlighted that his department under his term will work to formulate policies and programs that will "accelerate and expand the development of our indigenous energy resources in order to provide accessible and affordable energy to the Filipino people as we transition to a sustainable low-carbon future."
