PUBLIC Attorney's Office (PAO) chief Persida Rueda-Acosta on Tuesday thanked Sen. Rafael "Raffy" Tulfo for his promise to strengthen the agency by increasing its budget and its pool of lawyers who provide legal assistance to indigent parties.

Rueda-Acosta, who paid a courtesy call on Tulfo last week, was gratified by the assurance of the neophyte senator to help PAO serve more Filipinos.
