BULACAN Gov. Daniel Fernando announced that the number of persons deprived of liberty (PDL) detained at the Bulacan Provincial Jail (BPJ) has declined to 1,696 during the observation and kickoff ceremony of the 5 Pillars of Criminal Justice System in the province held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium on Monday, August 8.

Provincial Jail Warden Marcos Rivero said the numbers came from more than 4,000 PDL detained at the BPJ during the onset of the pandemic.
