MGEN. Rowen Tolentino formally assumed the post as new superintendent of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) following a change of command ceremony, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said on Saturday.

With the enactment of Republic Act 11709, an Act Strengthening Professionalism and Promoting the Continuity of Police and Modernization in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Tolentino will be the first superintendent to render a four-year fixed-term in the academy.
