PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Wednesday said he is inclined to extend the state of public health emergency until the end of the year amid the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Former president Rodrigo Duterte first declared a state of public health emergency throughout the country on March 8, 2020, due to the pandemic.
