THE United Nations (UN) representative in the Philippines said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s composition of the new Bangsamoro Transitional Authority (BTA) showed his "prioritization of the peace process" and its successful implementation.

UN Resident Coordinator of the United Nations and Humanitarian Coordinator in the Philippines Gustavo Gonzalez pointed this out as he lauded the President's appointment of the new BTA members.
