PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is likely to extend the state of public health emergency because of the Covid-19 pandemic until December.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the "PinasLakas" vaccination campaign at SM City Manila, Marcos said he discussed with Department of Health (DoH) Officer in Charge (OIC) Maria Rosario Vergeire the possible extension of the state of public health emergency "until the end of the year."
