THE Department of Education (DepEd) reaffirmed on Friday that regardless of any Covid-19 alert level, face-to-face classes will start on Monday, August 22.

Appearing before the organizational meeting of the Senate Committee on Basic Education chaired by Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, DepEd Undersecretary and Chief of Staff Epimaco Densing 3rd also said that starting November 2, public and private schools all over the country must transition to five days of in-person classes as ordered by Education Secretary Vice President Sara Duterte.
