ZAMBOANGA CITY: Rhodora Ventolero, a hardworking mother of five, patiently sews her daughter's school uniform, skipping her lunch break to finish a pair of long pants.
The 49-year-old works at Sky Gym at LM Metro Hotel and says the family cannot even afford a tailor. Earning a little over P300 a day, Rhodora says it is not enough to feed five children — all of them students and the youngest only 12 years old.
