DoTr inspects Manila ports, assures congested-free terminals

TRANSPORTATION Undersecretary Elmer Francisco Sarmiento and Philippine Ports Authority OIC Manager Francisquiel Mancile inspected the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) and the Manila North Harbor to ensure efficient port operations and uninterrupted supply chain activities at the local and global levels.

With the continued reopening of the economy, MICT is set to strengthen its position as the country's premier port through capacity expansion from 3.3 million to 3.5 million total equivalent units (TEUs).
