JAKARTA: A 6.5-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's western province of Bengkulu on Tuesday night, but no damage or fatality was reported, according to officials.

The Southeast Asian archipelago's Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency) did not issue a tsunami warning, as the temblor did not have the potential to trigger a tsunami.
