THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) assured the public that the country has enough supply of salt whose prices have also gone up.

During the Laging Handa Public Briefing on Thursday, DTI Consumer Protection Group Undersecretary Ruth Castelo clarified that the cost of salt went up because the department approved manufacturers' request to increase their selling prices.
