BALANGA CITY: The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (Provincial Council) of Bataan in Region 3 (Central Luzon) on Thursday, August 25, announced that it approved on third and final reading on Monday, August 22, an ordinance prohibiting the pawning of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P) cards in the province.
Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, SP presiding officer, said it has come to their attention the practice of hocking the cards to be able to borrow money.
