NAVAL, Biliran: Six housing projects of the National Housing (NHA) in four municipalities in Biliran province still do not have potable drinking water — the main reason why some homes remain unoccupied by beneficiaries.

Engineer Eulalio Maderazo, general manager of the Naval Water District (NWD) based here, told The Manila Times that the five housing projects in Biliran need a budget of around P30 million to finance the installation of pipes for a stable supply of potable water to residents — survivors of Super Typhoon "Yolanda" which struck in November 2013.
