BEIJING: China saw an increase in business registrations in the first half of 2022, giving the East Asian country another indication of a resilient and vibrant economy despite multiple challenges.

The number of registered market entities reached 161 million in end-June, up 4.4 percent from a year earlier, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation.
