FILIPINO seafarers, who are currently onboard ships and whose certificates have already expired since July 1, 2022, are urged by the Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) to revalidate through the manning agency that hired them.

Marina stated in an advisory that expired certificates for shipboard seafarers can be revalidated by their Licensed Manning Agencies (LMAs) through an expedited process.
