PHILIPPINE Ambassador to Washington Jose Manuel Romualdez said the Department of National Defense is "now looking into" the offer of the United States (US) to provide 13 or 14 Black Hawk helicopters as replacement to the scrapped chopper deal with Russia.
Romualdez gave this information on Wednesday during the Commission on Appointments (CA) deliberation on his ad interim appointment as the Philippines' top envoy to the US. The CA approved his designation later on.
