THE Department of Health (DoH) has said it would be "disastrous" for local government units (LGUs) to push for separate rulings on lifting Covid-19 mask mandates like what Cebu City had done.
Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama issued Executive Order 5 that makes masking "non-obligatory" in public spaces and open areas except in hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities.
