SEN. Maria Imelda Josefa "Imee" Marcos has urged the Department of Agriculture (DA) not to put government subsidies for farmers in time deposit and immediately distribute the P9 billion allocated for rice tillers.
The senator appealed to the DA to speed up the release of the fund as rice farmers prepare for the planting season in September and October.
