THE cityhood of Calaca town in Batangas has been successfully ratified in a plebiscite.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) declared the municipality of Calaca, Batangas, as a component city on Sept. 3, 2022, with an overwhelming 29,424 yes votes against 3,781 no votes.
