THE Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday approved the ad interim appointments of George Erwin Garcia as Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman and Karlo Alexei Nograles as Civil Service Commission (CSC) chairman.
Garcia and Nograles first passed the screening process of the CA's Constitutional Commissions before their appointments were recommended for confirmation before the CA plenary. Their term will end on Feb. 2, 2029.
