MALACAÑANG on Tuesday announced it is further extending the state of calamity throughout the country until the end of the year due to the coronavirus disease pandemic.

Signed by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. last Monday, Proclamation 57 extends the validity of the declaration "in order for the National Government and Local Government Units to continuously deliver Covid-19 related interventions."
