SOME lawmakers in the House of Representatives want the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) to have a budget higher than the amount proposed in the National Expenditure Program (NEP).
The NEP submitted to the House by the Department of Budget and Management a proposed budget of P800 million, an amount lower than the 2023 budget that the CHR had proposed.
