DAM officials on Saturday started to release water from Magat Dam in Isabela ahead of the expected impact of severe tropical storm "Karding" in the affected areas.
In a text message to The Manila Times, National Irrigation Administration-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System Public Information Officer Desiree Cacal said that NIA-MARIIS opened one of the dam's gates at 12 noon on Saturday.
