THE Samahang Industriya ng Agrikultura (Sinag) on Saturday accused traders of manipulating the prices of meat products as retail prices of pork have increased despite the decline in farmgate prices.

In a radio interview, Sinag President Rosendo So noted that while the liveweight price of hogs decreased to P172 per kilo in September compared to the P175 in August, retail price hovers between P270 and P280 per kilo.
