THE Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) have turned over the new access roads in Banaue, Mayoyao and Lagawe in Ifugao Province, which are seen to support upland farmers who also serve as stewards of vital forest resources.
The roads will help upland farmers transport their agroforestry goods easily and find new markets.
