HONG KONG-based insurance giant AIA Group Ltd. announced on Wednesday it had acquired 100 percent of the shares of Philippine-based health maintenance organization (HMO) MediCard.
In a statement posted on its website, AIA said the deal is subject to regulatory approvals without providing any financial information.
