THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) is pushing through with the printing of 90 million ballots and other preparation for the 2022 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) despite the bicameral approval of the bill postponing the twin polls to next year.

Chairman George Erwin Garcia said over the week that the Comelec would continue with its preparation until a new law is ratified moving the BSKE to October 2023.
