Malaysia's new film lab taps Filipino film industry experts

Malaysia's mylab — a new film lab and incubator program for Malaysian scriptwriters, directors, and producers looking to work on developing scripts and film projects under the guidance of creative and industry experts — has tapped Filipino film professionals as mentors and panelists for the next edition of their lab. It will be held during the Busan International Film Festival this month.

For its Busan edition, the lab opened to Asian projects, including Filipino Feature film project Mother Maybe, directed by Sonny Calvento and produced by Sheron Dayoc and Arden Rod Condez of Southern Lantern Studios.
