A magnitude 5.1earthquake occurred on Monday afternoon in Surigao del Norte where Intensity 4was felt, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology(Phivolcs).
In its advisory,Phivolcs said the tremor took place around 4:07 p.m. some 29 kilometersnorth-east of the municipality of General Luna, also in the province.
