EVEN as we celebrated Cebu Press Freedom Week with a forum on cyberlibel, Ramon Daomilas Jr., the presiding judge of Cebu's Regional Trial Court Branch 11, was preparing a warrant of arrest for cyberlibel against print and broadcast journalist Arnold Bustamante. The case stemmed from comments made by Bustamante on the early morning news program that he anchors on DYHP, the local AM radio station of Radio Mindanao Network in Cebu, in November 2021.
