Marina to draft circulars on ship class, tanker design

THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) has conducted public consultations on the proposed circulars on ship classification and the design standards and requirements for chemical tankers.

Marina Administrator Hernani Fabia said the proposed memorandum circulars (MC) are important to improve the maritime safety administration in the country.
