EDUCATION spokesperson lawyer Michael Poa reiterated that the confidential funds requested by the Department of Education (DepEd) under its budget for fiscal year 2023 will be utilized to protect learners.
He told reporters on Friday that the request for confidential funds followed the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint Memorandum Circular 2015-01 allowing national government agencies to have such funds.
