FINANCE Secretary Benjamin Diokno said the government is doing its best to cool down the country's inflation by the first quarter of 2023.

During the annual reception for the banking community on late Friday night, the Finance chief said he remains optimistic that inflation will soon stabilize, especially as "secondary effects" have already been addressed.
