JAKARTA: Southeast Asian foreign ministers said they were "even more determined" to resolve the political crisis in Myanmar during talks in Indonesia on Thursday, ahead of an Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) leaders' summit in November.

Myanmar has been in turmoil since its military's Feb. 1, 2021 coup that toppled the elected government of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi. But despite its expressions of concern, efforts by the 10-member regional bloc are yet to bear any fruit.
