WHILE climate change is continually exacerbating in the Philippines, the country has many of the tools and instruments required to reduce damages substantially, according to a new report by World Bank Group.

In its Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) for the Philippines released on Wednesday, World Bank Group highlighted that climate change in the Philippines, if left unaddressed, could hamper the country's ambition of becoming an upper middle-income country by 2040.
