GENEVA: The Fortune Pink diamond sold for almost $29 million to a private Asian customer at an auction in the Swiss city of Geneva on Tuesday.
At 18.18 carats, the exceptionally rare gemstone is the largest pear-shaped "fancy vivid pink" diamond ever sold under the hammer, according to auction house Christie's.
