WITH over 1.8 million individuals affected by Tropical Storm "Paeng" (International name "Nalgae"), Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) chairman Undersecretary Elpidio Jordan Jr. has directed all field operations offices of the commission to conduct a quick response to affected urban poor families who may be in desperate need of help from the government.
In a statement, Jordan disclosed that it was the expressed orders of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to respond quickly to the needs of those who have been severely affected by Typhoon Paeng.
