The department to date has awarded 42 OSW service contracts with an aggregated installed capacity of 31.5 gigawatts (GW), officials said in a briefing. Northern Luzon, the Verde Island Passage, Northern Mindoro and Southern Mindoro were identified as the areas with prime potential.
