BACOLOD CITY: Mayor Alfredo "Albee" Benitez assured drivers and operators of public utility jeepneys (PUJs) with no updated franchises that they will not be arrested.
The two-week respite given to the drivers and operators ended on Wednesday, November 23, but Benitez said the moratorium shall be extended for two more weeks.
