All set for the 5th Eddys

The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd), whose members are the entertainment editors of national broadsheets and top tabloids in the Philippines, organized The EDDYS — The Editors' Choice for the best of the best in local movies. It is a prestigious annual film event to honor artists, actors, writers, directors, workers and producers in the Philippine film industry.

Now in its fifth year, this award-giving body brings to the fore the finest cinematic talent in the Philippines from the previous year by recognizing those who have shown artistic excellence and celebrating them through a night of entertainment and musical performances. Our new entertainment company, Fire and Ice Media and Productions, takes on the event's production to help bring together the country's finest artists and musicians as we all work towards recovering the film industry.
