Japan donates emergency health kits to Siargao

Consul General Ishikawa Yoshihisa of the Japan Consulate General Office in Davao led the official turnover of mobile cold chain and emergency health kits to Typhoon Odette-affected communities in Siargao Island on November 23.

This event marks the completion of the grant aid under the project "Shelter, CCCM and Health Response to Super Typhoon Odette in Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas and Caraga Regions." IOM Philippines Chief of Mission Tristan Burnettwas also attended the event, along with Pilar, Surigao del Norte Mayor Marializa Ressurrecion and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer of Surigao del Norte Gilbert Conzales.
