WE often engage the services of a professional for certain jobs. When it comes to designing the interior of a place, be it a home or an office, we call in an interior designer. But sometimes, this may be confused with an interior decorator.

Many if not some people tend to associate or confuse "interior design" with "room makeover" or DIY (do-it-yourself) projects on Pinterest. But in reality, this falls into the realm of interior decorating. While decorating is key in creating functional, beautiful living spaces, the job of an interior designer is different from a decorator in many ways despite the seemingly overlapping of their roles.
