Woman Grandmaster Janelle Mae Frayna begins her bid to defend her crown on Tuesday, November 29, at the start of the Philippine National Women's Championships presented by Nova Wellness Store set at the PACE in Mindanao Ave., Quezon City.
The 25-year-old Frayna has been tagged as the early favorite in the 9-day tournament that offers a total cash prize of P140,000 with P50,000 going to the champion courtesy of Nova president Travis Vincent Chua.
